Warwick District Liberal Democrats challenge Labour MP Matt Western over Winter Fuel Payments

Now that Matt Western has voted for the cut in eligibility for the Winter Fuel Payment, would he like to explain to his constituents how both he and his staff are going to help those who will be just losing out to check their eligibility and provide help for them to apply for Pension Credit which will restore their Winter Fuel Payment.
The rise in the Energy Cap from October will just make things even worse for those who will now just miss out on the Winter Fuel Payment.
Obtaining Pension Credit and the other benefits that are available with it could make the difference between choosing between eating and heating this winter.
Your constituents deserve to know!
The deadline for applying for Pension Credit is 21st December.
