Jenny Wilkinson, Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Kenilworth & Southam is demanding the Government cancel plans to hike the average household energy bill by £500 in April, and bring in a tax on the "bonanza bonuses" of oil and gas bosses.
Jenny Wilkinson said "Our world is on fire. The Earth is heating to unsustainable levels. The air we breathe is toxic. Our planet is being irreparably damaged. And we are responsible. We have a moral duty to act and we must act now."
Jenny Wilkinson, the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Kenilworth & Southam is calling for an urgent plan to be developed so that local health services in South Warwickshire can improve cancer care and protect local health services. Last month NHS data revealed that 248 local people had to wait more than two weeks to see a cancer specialist after a GP referral.
Jenny Wilkinson used her speech at the Liberal Democrat West Midlands Regional Conference in November 2022 to talk about the challenges our children and young people are facing due to the impact of the Covid pandemic and lockdown.
